Free Electricity

We are having solar panels, (PV) fitted at no cost, this system will generate free electricity up to 3kWp, even without direct sun light. Under the arrangement we can use as much of this electricity as we like, the installer puts any unused electricity back into the grid. This FREE Solar Panel system is possible as we are allowing the installing company to have a 25 year lease on our roof. This is how we are changing our household use of power with the help of timers:- Switch off the gas water heating boiler & use the electric immersion. Use the washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher staggered during the day. Charge phones, laptops etc during the day. Converted the showers from just cold water to a mixed feed utilising the heated water We could go further & cook lunch in oven during day to heat up in microwave later. Boil kettles of water put them in thermos for tea coffee in the evening. Buy some batteries charge them up during the day use their power for lights in the evening.
